South Hill Vineyards & Winery is located on a stunning site near the top of Underwood Mountain in our home vineyard. It is a short 15-minute drive across the bridge from Hood River, Oregon.
Our tasting room is located within our working winery allowing you to see some of the winemaking equipment our winemakers use. Our friendly team is happy to share with you their knowledge about our vineyards and wines. A tasting may also be enjoyed outside while taking in the panoramic views of the Hood River Valley, Mt. Hood, and the Columbia River.

Travel 1.75 miles to a right on Cook-Underwood Rd.
Proceed 3.75 miles to a right on Kolleck-Knapp Rd.
Then 0.75 miles to a right on Scoggins Rd.
Finally 0.75 miles to a sharp left on the posted driveway.
The Parking area is on the drive past the first building and near the tasting room
A hidden gem. All 8 of the wines were delicious. How often does that happen? Incredible panoramic views of Mt. Hood and the Gorge east and west. New facility, family-operated, they know what they’re doing.
We had a fantastic time enjoying the wine, scenery and talking with the owners. The view from the tasting area was breathtaking, and the wine was the best we had tried in the Hood River Gorge. It was quiet and peaceful. 10/10

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Yes, we welcome dogs outside of the tasting room and winery but they must be kept on a leash at all times.
Q: Can I bring a picnic?
A: Yes, you are welcome to bring outside food for a picnic. We also offer a small selection of snacks for purchase.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: Unfortunately no minors are allowed at the winery.
Q: What is in a wine flight?
A: Our wine flight features a rotating selection of white and red wines, including our reserve wines.
Q: Do members get complimentary tastings?
A: Yes! Club member enjoy complimentary tastings for up to four people three times a year. Members also receive a 20% discount on all wine purchased and a 25% discount on case purchases.
Q: How do I make a reservation for large groups?
A: For groups of six or more people, you can make a reservation by calling us at 541-380-1438 or emailing us.
Q: Can I purchase a glass of wine?
A: We are not licensed for by the glass sales, but you are welcome to buy a bottle to enjoy with friends on the patio or picnic area.
